titleOfInvention Antifouling ship paint not requiring cuprous oxide, and preparation method therefor
abstract The present invention relates to an antifouling ship paint containing a resin compound, a solvent and a liquid antifouling agent, wherein the liquid antifouling agent is formed by mixing: 10-200 parts by weight of a mixture of an inorganic salt, which is a metal carbonate, and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of manganese dioxide (MnO 2 ), methyl cellosolve, sodium chlorate (NaClO 2 ), sodium perchlorate (NaClO 4 ), sodium oxide (NaO 2 ), sodium chlorite (NaClO 2 ), sodium hypochlorite (NaClO 3 ), tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS), a metal carbonate and sodium hydroxide (NaOH); 10-100 parts by weight of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) on the basis of 100 parts by weight of the mixture; and 10-100 parts by weight of an inorganic mineral on the basis of 100 parts by weight of the mixture. The present invention is very environmentally friendly since cuprous oxide (Cu 2 O), which is an environmentally harmful material polluting and destroying aquatic ecosystems, is not added to the liquid antifouling agent, and there is an effect of extending the lifetime of a product by improving the protection ability of an antifouling paint through an inorganic salt and an inorganic mineral to be added to the liquid antifouling agent.
