abstract A paper sack comprises at least one kraft paper layer and at least one reinforcement layer consisting of a laid scrim, and at least one carrying loop which forms a carrying element, wherein a base layer made from high-strength, stretchable sack kraft paper with a weight per unit area of between 60 g/m 2 and 320 g/m 2 is fully bonded with at least one stretchable laid scrim layer made from laid polypropylene, laid polyethylene, laid fibres made from biogenic raw materials, such as, for example, thermoplastic polylactic acids (PLA), impregnated polyester grid materials, fibrous materials or plastic-reinforced textile fibrous fabrics, such that, if necessary, the scrim layer is covered with a further scrim layer or polymer layer and/or a further paper layer, and such that the carrying element is formed from at least one carrying strap encompassing three sides of the paper sack.
