titleOfInvention | Tractive mechanism for an auxiliary mobility system for a wheelchair |
abstract | The invention relates to a tractive mechanism (1) for an auxiliary mobility system for a wheelchair, comprising two separate rotary plates that can be securely coupled to one another in a first position, each of said rotary plates being connected to a corresponding upper limb of a user by means of a connecting rod, with a first driving plate (2) connected to a sprocket chain in order to transmit the movement to a wheel and a second driven plate that receives the movement from the first driving plate (2). The mechanism also includes coupling/uncoupling means for connecting the driving plate to the connecting rod associated with the driving plate (2), and movement detection means linked to the activation of an electric motor and to the movement of the connecting rod, such that it is possible to obtain three different operating positions for the auxiliary system. |
