abstract |
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technique for capturing, within a secondary battery, transition metal ions such as cobalt ions eluted from a positive electrode active material, thereby preventing deposition of the transition metal at a negative electrode. The present invention provides a composition for a porous membrane for lithium ion secondary batteries, which contains non-conductive particles and a binder that contains a polymer A containing more than 85% by mass of an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer unit and a polymer B containing 60% by mass or more of a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer unit, with the ratio of the content of the polymer A to the content of the polymer B being from 0.2 to 9.0 (inclusive) on a mass basis. |
