abstract |
[Problem] To provide: a liquid crystal compound that has excellent polarized light emission properties and that can be used to conveniently produce a polarized light emission film that suppresses reductions in polarized light emission properties even in high-temperature/high-humidity environments; a polarized light emission film that is produced using the liquid crystal composition; a frequency converting member; and a production method for the frequency converting member. [Solution] This liquid crystal composition includes: a plurality of quantum rods that are excited by incident excitation light and emit fluorescence; and a side-chain polymer liquid crystal compound that has a cross-linking group. |
