Photoelectric conversion device |
abstract |
The quantity of an impurity in a sealed region is easily determined. This photoelectric conversion device is provided with: an element substrate which comprises a first electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer that is provided on the first electrode and performs charge separation by means of the energy of light irradiated thereupon, and a second electrode that is provided on the photoelectric conversion layer; a counter substrate which faces the element substrate; and a sealing layer that is provided so that a sealing region that seals at least the photoelectric conversion layer is formed between the element substrate and the counter substrate. The element substrate additionally comprises: an impurity detection layer which is provided within the sealing region so as to be in contact with at least the second electrode, and which causes a chemical reaction with an impurity that contains oxygen and/or water; and a third electrode which is in contact with the impurity detection layer and extends to the outside of the sealing region. |
