abstract A multi-cavity dispensing container for delivering a polyphenol and a toothpaste is disclosed. Further, a solid alkaline metal flavonoid salt is disclosed. Further, a method is disclosed of preventing or treating disorders or diseases of the oral cavity, comprising administering a composition comprising a solubilized flavonoid, solubilized curcuminoid, or combinations thereof; whereby said solubilized flavonoid, solubilized curcuminoid, or combinations thereof persist in said oral cavity longer than nonsolubilized flavonoid, nonsolubilized curcuminoid, or combinations thereof. Finally, a composition is disclosed, comprising a chelated flavonoid or chelated curcuminoid, such as a calcium or zinc chelate.
