abstract In one embodiment a vaccine composition comprises two or three AChR subunit constructs and an adjuvant. In another embodiment, the invention provides a method of treating myasthenia gravis in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering a vaccine composition comprising one or more acetylcholine receptor subunit constructs selected from the group consisting of AChR α1 subunit, AChR β1 subunit, AChR γ subunit, AChR δ subunit, AChR ε subunit, a fragment thereof, and a combination thereof, and an adjuvant.
