abstract |
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition that is a ginsenoside composition derived from medicinal ginseng and that is particularly useful as a composition for oral use. [Solution] Provided is a composition comprising various ginsenoside components, wherein the composition is characterized in that the essential components are both gypenoside XVII (abbreviated "XVII") and compound O (abbreviated "CO"). The composition comprises, in terms of the total ginsenoside component in the composition, 1 wt% or more of XVII and 3.5 wt% or more of CO. The weight ratio of CO/XVII in the composition is within a range of 1 to 10. |
