abstract Embodiments of the invention are related to synthetic printed boards and a method of printing and coating the synthetic boards. A synthetic board is printed, using for example, an inkjet printer, to form a pattern on at least one face of the board. The printed pattern is then cured. The printed pattern is coated with a transparent protective coating. The transparent protective coating has a thickness of less than 500 microns. The transparent protective coating is further cured to be hardened and weather-durable.
