abstract The present invention relates to a device (1) for testing the properties of fibre(s), such as hair fibres, and more particularly for testing the performance of hair conditioning products. The fibres may be human hair fibres, for example, a hair tress. The device (1) has a plurality of rods (3) that are capable of freely rotating. Each rod (3) has a proximal end (4) and a distal end (5). The proximal end (4) is connected to a support (6). The distal end (5) is free. The present invention also relates to related uses and methods of using the device.
