titleOfInvention Method for testing fetal chromosome
abstract Provided is a method for testing fetal chromosomes that reliably acquires fetal nucleated red blood cells from the mother's blood and tests fetal nucleated red blood cells efficiently in a short period of time. The method has a collection step for acquiring maternal blood from a pregnant mother, a concentration step for concentrating the nucleated red blood cells in the maternal blood, a sorting step for sorting the maternal nucleated red blood cells and fetal red blood cells on the basis of the shape of the nucleus and the spectral characteristics at a wavelength included in a wavelength range of 400-650 nm of the nucleated red blood cells in the maternal blood in which the nucleated red blood cells have been concentrated by the concentration step, an amplification step for amplifying the nucleic acid of the chromosomes of the nucleated red blood cells, a confirmation step for confirming the amount of amplified product of nucleated red blood cells, and a determination step for determining the existence of aneuploidy of the fetal chromosomes.
