abstract |
The invention relates to a method for the preparation of organic compounds with the recovery of product liquids, which comprise mixtures of short-chain and medium length-chain carboxylic acids having a chain length of 2 to 16 carbon atoms, by anaerobic fermentation of biomass with micro-organism mixed cultures by suppression of methane formation and by electrolytic treatment of said product liquids containing the carboxylic acids at a constant or varying oxidation stream for the extraction and isolation of the target compounds. |
