abstract The invention relates to a sensor device (1) for determining a displacement (T) of a shaft (3) along a longitudinal axis (L) of said shaft, comprising a sensor unit (5), which is arranged radially at a first distance (A) from the longitudinal axis (L), wherein the shaft (3) can be displaced in relation to the sensor unit (5) along the longitudinal axis (L), and a detection element (7), which is arranged between the shaft (3) and the sensor unit (5) and is coupled to the shaft (3) in a fixed manner and radially at a second distance (R) from the longitudinal axis (L), wherein a side of the detection element (7) facing away from the longitudinal axis (L) is convex with respect to a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (L), and the sensor unit (5) is designed to produce a shaft displacement signal, which depends on a displacement of the detection element (7) in relation to the sensor unit (5) along the longitudinal axis (L).
