abstract |
A separator for nonaqueous secondary batteries, which is provided with: a porous base having an average pore diameter of from 20 nm to 100 nm (inclusive); and a porous layer that is provided on one surface or both surfaces of the porous base and contains a polyvinylidene fluoride resin and a filler. The porous layer contains the filler in an amount from 45% by volume to 75% by volume (inclusive) relative to the total solid content. The weight average molecular weight of the polyvinylidene fluoride resin contained in the porous layer is 1,000,000 or more. The peel strength between the porous base and the porous layer is 0.20 N/12 mm or more. |
