titleOfInvention Method and device for increasing the colonisation density of active bacteria and archaea, using multi-stage, self-regulating ultrasonic treatment of liquids in biogas fermenters
abstract The invention relates to a method and to the device for targeted introduction and cultivation of a floating layer for increasing and controlling the colonisation density of active bacteria and Archaea , using multi-stage, self-regulating ultrasonic treatment of liquids in biogas fermenters. The additional introduction of coarse fibrous materials into the fermentation substrates to be energetically converted, the formation of separate layers therefrom for the colonisation and concentration of bacteria and Archaea , and the optimization of the specific plant configuration, as a function of the fermenter organic component, accelerate substrate conversion, and the floating layer replaces physical systems, enabling space loading to be increased and largely reducing the discharge of methane-forming substrates from the quasi-continuous fermenter. The ultrasonic treatment optimizes the system with regard to fibre digestion and hydraulic conditions.
