titleOfInvention Apparatus for anastomosis
abstract The invention relates to a system for directly connecting the bladder (5) to the urethra (4), comprising: a first device (3) with rods (33); a second device (6) with rods (63); a first tube (1) designed for the devices so that said devices can be inserted into the urethra (4) until they reach the bladder or the end of the urethra, respectively; and at least one second tube (2; 82A, 82B) which can slide along the first tube. The rods are straight. The system comprises activation means, by means of which, in response to manipulation when the system is in use, a fluid is injected along at least the one second tube, applying a pressure that causes a mobile part (31, 61) of the devices (3, 6) to move, forcing the rods to move along channels (36, 66) until they attach to the inner wall of the bladder or urethra, attaching the first device (3) to the bladder (5) or the second device to the urethra. During the use of the system, and once the two devices have been attached to the bladder (5) and the urethra (4), they are secured to one another, connecting the bladder to the urethra. The invention also relates to a method for connecting a bladder to a urethra.
