titleOfInvention Signal processing apparatus and method
abstract The present invention relates to the technical field of communications networks. Disclosed are a signal processing apparatus and method, which are used for solving the problem of low efficiency of cable fault detection. In embodiments of the present invention, a collection module collects feedback channel data, collects receive channel data, and provides the feedback channel data and the receive channel data to an FDR module; and the FDR module performs predistortion on the feedback channel data to obtain predistorted data; then extracts a passive inter modulation (PIM) spectral line from the receive channel data by using the predistorted data as reference data; and performs frequency domain dot division on the PIM spectral line and a reference signal to calculate the position of a fault point.
