abstract This light emitting device is provided with: at least one light emitting element that emits light having a peak emission wavelength within a wavelength range of 380-480 nm; a first green phosphor, which is excited by means of primary light emitted from the light emitting element, and which emits light having a peak emission wavelength in a green region; a second green phosphor, which is excited by means of the primary light, and which emits light having a peak emission wavelength in the green region; and a red phosphor, which is excited by means of the primary light, and which emits light having a peak emission wavelength in a red region. The peak emission wavelength of light emitted from the second green phosphor is shorter than the peak emission wavelength of light emitted from the first green phosphor.
