abstract The invention relates to a medical shaft-type instrument (1) comprising an instrument head (3) for applying clamps (8), wherein the instrument head (3) can be connected via an instrument shaft (4) to an instrument handle (2) for actuating the instrument head (3), and comprising a clip magazine (7) having a housing (6), in which magazine a plurality of clamps (8) are bunkered at a predetermined storage position spacing to each other according to the storage principle, all the clamps (8) can each be moved forward by one storage position by means of a reciprocating transport and entraining rail (16) within the scope of a single delivery stroke, wherein the transport and entraining rail (16) has one clamp entraining element (38) per clamp (8), wherein the relative distance of the individual clamp entraining elements (38) differs from the respective storage position distances of the clamps (8) in such a way that the entrainment of the bunkered clamps (8) is carried out within the scope of one single delivery stroke in a clocked way.
