abstract Embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus and method for frame aggregation and frame parsing. Multiple MSDUs sent to different target workbenches are aggregated into one A-MSDU; a receiving side address field with an AID structure is generated according to a common attribute of AIDs of the different workbenches; an MPDU obtained after encapsulation of the A-MSDU is sent to a receiving side workbench communicating with a sending side workbench; the receiving side workbench parses a receiving side address field of a frame header of the received MPDU; and when the AID structure of the receiving side address field comprises an AID of the receiving side workbench, the receiving side workbench parses the A-MSDU and searches for an MSDU that is in the A-MSDU and uses the AID as a destination address. When the AID structure of the receiving side address field comprises the AID of the receiving side workbench, the receiving side workbench can continue to parse the A-MSDU and search for an MSDU that is in the A-MSDU and uses the AID as a destination address, so that multiple MSDUs sent to different target workbenches can be aggregated into one A-MSDU, thereby expanding the application range of the frame aggregation technology of the A-MSDU.
