abstract This additive for a cellulose fiber composite resin is a polymer having a specific structural unit (1) and a specific structural unit (2), and is characterized in that: the mass of the specific structural unit (1), excluding the functional groups represented by R 1 , R 2 and R 3 , is 5 to 50 mass% of the entire polymer; the total mass of the functional groups represented by R 2 , R 3 , and R 5 in the specific structural unit (1) and the structural unit (2) is 20 to 70 mass% of the entire polymer; the mass of the specific structural unit (1) and the specific structural unit (2) is 70 to 100 mass% of the entire polymer; and the glass transition temperature is at least 50°C.
