abstract The present invention relates to a method for removing porous and organic material and extracting spicules from natural bio-sponge obtained from sponge, by using a solution of sodium hydroxide and L-ascorbic acid. According to the method for purifying and extracting spicules from natural bio-sponge obtained from sponges of the present invention, it is possible to extract spicules which secure porosity for enhancing a transfer rate of an efficacy material and in which impurities are removed to minimize side effects, compared to the prior art.
