abstract |
Provided is a resin-metal composite material which ensures high adhesion between a resin material and a metal material. Also provided is a tire which achieves high durability by using this resin-metal composite material. The resin-metal composite material contains a metal material and a resin material that covers at least a part of the surface of the metal material. The resin material is mainly composed of a thermoplastic resin having a polar group. The surface of the metal material is treated with a buffer solution having a pH of from 5 to 7.2 (inclusive), and the abundance ratio of copper in the total amount of copper and zinc (Cu/(Cu + Zn) × 100) in the surface of the metal material is 55-95% by mass. The tire has an annular tire carcass that is formed of a resin material and a reinforcing layer that is composed of a reinforcing member which is wound around the outer circumference of the tire carcass, and the reinforcing member is formed of the resin-metal composite material. |
