Provided is an efficient method for treating a fluorine-containing aqueous solution, wherein the reaction of fluorine ions in the fluorine-containing aqueous solution with a disiloxane compound can proceed within a short time. A method for treating a fluorine-containing aqueous solution, which involves a reaction step of mixing the fluorine-containing aqueous solution with a disiloxane compound represented by the general formula: R a R b R c SiOSiR d R e R f (wherein R a , R b , R c , R d , R e and R f are independently selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a phenyl group and a hydrogen atom) in a vertical direction to cause the reaction of fluorine ions in the fluorine-containing aqueous solution with the disiloxane compound, thereby producing a first reaction solution containing monofluorosilane compounds respectively represented by the general formula: R a R b R c SiF and the general formula: R d R e R f SiF. |
