titleOfInvention | Modular protection system for fish farming cages preventing attack from natural predators, formed by a set of modules consisting of flat net surfaces and a plurality of structural and tensioning elements, and assembly method |
abstract | Protection modular system for fish farming cages preventing the attack of natural predators such as sea lions, capable of generating a protective perimeter that keeps away these predators through a mesh structure that uses a minimal amount of tension elements, thus it is cheaper, easier for installation and maintenance tasks, it ensures the distance that separates it from growing nets and enables better net behavior to external effects (such as changes of tide movement / flow of water, etc.). This net system formed by panels which are installed and anchored to a traditional mooring structure, comprises a set of modules (M) placed next to each other forming a protective wall surrounding such fish farming cages (A) around its peripheral edge and bottom. Such modules comprise many structural elements (20) arranged on their external side, while their inner side has many tension elements (30) which are fixed to the edges of the module by one end, and the free end of the tension elements (30) goes out by points located in a horizontal central edge (115), where such tension elements (30) are pulled out of the modules and join the traditional mooring structure, causing the modules to be folded in two opposite inclined planes (113, 114). This protective modular system is also made by elements (40) connecting together the structural elements and guiding the tension elements, and by installation means (50) comprising many rope elements binding together and tensioning the set of modules with respect to the anchoring structure. |
