[Problem] To enable the hygienic state of a hygiene product being worn on a human body to improve by imparting an antioxidant function to the hygiene product. [Solution] This hygiene product basically contains a hydrogen-generating substance which produces hydrogen by reacting with water (moisture). Specifically, an antioxidant function is achieved as a result of hydrogen produced when moisture in secretions or excretions from a human body comes into contact with the hygiene product. If the hygiene product has a pad section, the pad section can contain the hydrogen-generating substance, and the hygiene product is, for example, a first-aid adhesive plaster (1), a nappy (diaper) (6), an underarm sweat sheet (10), a sweat-removing pad (15 (15B, 15C)), a sanitary towel (20), a sanitary tampon (25, 25B, 25C), an oral-nasal mask (30), a face mask (35), or the like. A sheet into which the hydrogen-generating substance has been kneaded can be disposed inside or on the back surface of the pad section. |
