Described is a method for setting an x-ray emission unit, wherein image data (DAT) is acquired by means of a number of image capturing units (3, 4, 5). A body region (9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, 9.5, 9.6) to be x-rayed on a test object (11) is identified on the basis of the image data (DAT). Position-related data (POS) on the body region (9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, 9.5, 9.6) to be x-rayed is then determined, and the x-ray emission unit (1) is set using said position-related data (POS). An x-ray system (2) and an x-ray emission unit are also described. |
