The invention relates to oil and gas mining technology involving polymer materials, namely to producing microspheres of a polymer propping agent from a polymer matrix based on a metathesis-radically crosslinked mixture of oligocyclopentadienes. The method comprises mixing matrix components, namely, a polymer stabilizer, a radical initiator, a ruthenium catalyst for metathesis polymerization of dicyclopentadiene and the mixture of oligocyclopentadienes, followed by feeding the resulting mixture in the form of a laminar flow into an aqueous solution of a thickener containing surfactants while stirring, separating microspheres formed, heating in an inert liquid medium, and holding. The method ensures a high yield of microspheres amounting to the target fraction of 0.3-1.5 wt%, and reduces the swelling in oil by 20-30%. |
