abstract Provided is a reduced coenzyme Q10 composition that is suitable for inexpensive and simple formulation that can meet the demands of the market, that has good oxidation stability, and that is a solid at room temperature. More specifically, the composition is a solid at 25 °C and comprises reduced coenzyme Q10, an organic acid, and a carbonate that contains sodium cations and/or calcium cations. The organic acid is preferably itaconic acid, L-ascorbic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid, or erythorbic acid. The carbonate is preferably sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, calcium carbonate, or a hydrate thereof.
