abstract The invention relates to a method for optimising the use of the unoccupied load transport capacity of vehicles, assigning the most suitable transport requests to each vehicle in real time. A device in the vehicle communicates its route modifications to a control unit, and the unit alters the points which make up the route thereof, in real time, so that it can collect and deliver loads at these points. It also takes into account the use made of the vehicle for each transported load.
