abstract The present invention relates to the field of display technologies. A testing device and method, a display device and a display method, which solve the problem of non-uniform distribution of brightness of a backlight source caused by shortened light mixing distance of an LED lamp. The testing method comprises: displaying a test image under the action of a backlight source; collecting a brightness value of each pixel of the test image; and acquiring at least one compensation value according to light distribution data, the compensation value being used as the basis for compensating for the brightness of each pixel of the test image to a standard brightness value.
