titleOfInvention Method for producing a 3d biomodel by means of ester-saccharide polymerisation, where said 3d biomodel reaches a bending strength close to that of the human bone
abstract The invention relates to a method for producing a 3D biomodel by means of ester-saccharide polymerisation, where said 3D biomodel reaches a bending strength close to that of the human bone. The materials and the curing used in the method for producing the 3D biomodel allow a 3D biomodel to be produced that has a bending strength which is very close (95 - 105%) to that of the pig bone, which is very similar to the human bone, and therefore allows the application thereof in a wide variety of conditions such as the production of bone models or bone phantoms with a high level of physical and geometrical realism, replacement of bone material used in string instruments (bridge saddles and nuts), or any mechanical device that may be of a strength which is close or similar to that of the bone.
