abstract |
Disclosed are an asymmetric butadiene-based charge transport compound represented by any one of general formulae (1) and (1') set forth in claim 1; an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing the same as a charge transport material; and an image forming apparatus. The electrophotographic photoreceptor using an organic photoconductive material as a charge transport material does not cause problems such as partial crystallization and the like during film formation, exhibits a sufficient photo-responsive property due to a high charge potential and high sensitivity, and has good durability. Such characteristics are not degraded even in the case of use in a high speed process or in a low temperature environment, and such characteristics are also not degraded by light exposure, and thus the electrophotographic photoreceptor has high reliability. |
