abstract |
This binder composition for an electrode of a lithium ion secondary cell includes an emulsion in which polymer particles derived from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer are dispersed in an aqueous solution of a polyvinyl alcohol resin. The average particle diameter of the polymer particles is at least 50 nm, but less than 600 nm. The viscosity-average degree of polymerization of the polyvinyl alcohol resin is 400-3,000. With a lithium ion secondary cell having a lithium ion secondary cell electrode obtained using this binder composition, high charge-discharge capacity can be stably obtained. |
