abstract |
Provided are: a silver-plated member which exhibits excellent abrasion resistance, electrical conductivity, sliding properties, and low frictional properties, and which is suitable for inhibiting embrittlement of a silver plating layer; and a production method therefor. This plated-material production method is characterized by including: a first step in which a metal base material, which has a reflow tin plating layer provided to at least one portion thereof, and which has a reactive layer provided at an interface between the reflow tin plating layer and the metal base material, has at least one portion of the reflow tin plating layer and the reactive layer completely removed therefrom; and a second step in which at least one portion of an area where the reflow tin plating layer and the reactive layer have been completely removed is silver plated. |
