The present invention provides: a liquid crystal display element which is less susceptible to the occurrence of dropping marks during the production thereof without deteriorating the characteristics of the liquid crystal display element such as dielectric anisotropy, viscosity, upper limit temperature of the nematic phase and rotational viscosity (γ 1 ) and image burn-in characteristics of the liquid crystal display element; and a method for producing the liquid crystal display element. In addition, the present invention enables the production of a liquid crystal display element which has excellent high-speed responsivity as a liquid crystal display element, and which is stable with respect to the orientation and the pretilt angle of liquid crystal molecules, while being suppressed in image burn-in and the occurrence of dropping marks during the production thereof. A liquid crystal display element produced according to the present invention can be effectively used as a display element such as a liquid crystal TV and a monitor. |
