abstract Provided are a transmission method and device for power usage state information. The transmission method for transmitting power usage state information of the present invention comprises: determining, by a terminal device, a power headroom (PH) of a second cell corresponding to the terminal device; and sending to a first network device, by the terminal device, the PH and channel configuration information corresponding to the PH. The embodiments of the present invention can facilitate the first network device in acquiring a power usage state of the second cell corresponding to the terminal device according to the PH and the channel configuration information, so that the transmitting power of a UE among different network devices can be reasonably allocated. Therefore, the system resources are rationally used.
