abstract A printhead (1 ) having at least two individual heads (2), wherein each individual head (2) comprises a fluid chamber (21 ) having a nozzle associated therewith for printing a fluid onto a substrate, characterised in that, the printhead (1 ) further comprises a support element (3) having an internal duct (31 ) formed therein, through which fluid can flow to the heads, and, wherein the individual heads (2) are arranged on the support element (3) and retained thereon, thereby providing a controlled pressure across each fluid chamber of each individual head.
