Provided is a method for manufacturing a layered cell including: a step for forming a membrane electrode assembly having a porous layer structure, said assembly being obtained by having an electrolyte layer disposed between a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate; a tab-mounting step for joining, on an outer packaging, terminal tabs on end parts of the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate in the membrane electrode assembly; and a step for covering the membrane electrode assembly with the outer packaging; wherein the method for manufacturing a layered cell is characterized in that, in the tab-mounting step, after at least a portion of an end part of the outer packaging has bent toward a side opposite the side facing the membrane electrode assembly, the terminal tabs are joined to the end parts of the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate disposed correspondingly with respect to the bent portion of the end part of the outer packaging. |
