The spinetoram and dimethacarb are used as the main active ingredients of the insecticidal composition, and the weight ratio of the spinetoram to the dimethacarb is 0.1-80: 0.5-80. The insecticidal composition has the effects of expanding a prevention and control spectrum and synergizing, can be reduce the pesticide cost, and can be formulated into emulsion oil, wettable powder, microemulsion, water emulsion, suspending agent and water dispersible granules to prevent and control various pests such as lepidoptera, hemiptera, hymenoptera, coleoptera and the like.
