abstract |
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: an ultraviolet ray-curable coating varnish composition which is characterized by having all of good curability even under energy-saving ultraviolet ray irradiation, low susceptibility to yellowish discoloration, and flexibility to such an extent that the cracking of a cured coating film upon the bending of a base material can be overcome, and is also characterized by being coated on a printed matter using a coater unit provided in an offset printing machine; and a printed matter produced using the composition.nAn ultraviolet ray-curable coating varnish composition which is characterized by comprising a photopolymerization initiator composition, a polymerizable urethane acrylate compound (A) which is contained in an amount of 5 to 60% by weight relative to the whole amount of the composition and is produced by reacting a diisocyanate compound having an aromatic ring structure or an alicyclic structure and having a weight average molecular weight of 140 to 300 with pentaerythritol triacrylate, and a polymerizable acrylate monomer (B) which is different from the aforementioned compound, and is also characterized by being coated using a coater unit provided in an offset printing machine. |
