abstract A charge/discharge system capable of supplying power to a power generator and capable of charging regenerative power from the power generator. The charge/discharge system comprises: a capacitor connected to the power generator; a secondary battery connected in parallel to the capacitor; a power conversion device interposed between the capacitor and the secondary battery and which boosts and bucks the charge/discharge voltage of the secondary battery; and a control device that controls the power conversion device. If the SOC of the secondary battery is at least a preset first set value, the control device charges the regenerative power from the power generator by using only the capacitor and, if the SOC of the secondary battery falls below the first set value, charges part or all of the regenerative power from the power generator by using the secondary battery.
