titleOfInvention Autonomous system for the detection of waste
abstract The invention relates to an autonomous system for the automatic detection of waste (4), in particular for detecting the household consumption of groceries and other goods and products used in the household, comprising at least one detection unit (2) for reading identification elements (4.1) of waste materials (4), and a processing unit (2) for storage and evaluation, and an input unit (3; 7; 8; 9) for initiating the output and/or relaying and/or change of the data detected by means of the detection unit (2). The invention is characterized in that the at least one detection unit (2) for identification elements (4.1) of waste materials (4) is arranged on one or a plurality of sides of a receptacle (1) for waste materials (4) and/or waste containers, or is arranged totally or partially around an infilling opening in said receptacle (1). The at least one processing unit (2) detects and stores identification elements (4.1) of the waste materials (4), which are on their way to being disposed of, and automatically or upon request by the user, relays the same via the at least one input unit (3, 7, 8, 9) to at least one output unit (8, 9) that is integrated (6, 7), or connected by cable (ll), or by radio (12).
