abstract A separating agent which can selectively separate and recover platinum group metal ions from a solution containing multiple kinds of metal ions, and a separation method of platinum group metal ions are provided. This platinum group metal separating agent is characterized by a polyethylenimine chemically bonding to an inorganic carrier via an amide bond; this method of separating platinum group metal ions uses said separating agent.
