abstract The present invention is a solar heat collection tube (1) having an inner tube (2) and an outer tube (3), with a vacuum region (4) formed between the inner tube (2) and the outer tube (3). With this solar heat collection tube (1) a hydrogen permeation suppression film (6) is formed on the outside surface of the inner tube (2) by means of a wet process, and an optically selective film (7) is formed on the surface of the hydrogen permeation suppression film (6). By means of this solar heat collection tube (1) the forming of a planarized hydrogen permeation suppression film (6) makes it possible to increase the thermal radiation suppression effect of the optically selective film (7), in addition to increasing the hydrogen permeation suppression effect, thereby making it possible to improve the heat collection efficiency and the service life.
