titleOfInvention Method and device for forming surgical anastomoses
abstract The group of inventions relates to medicine and can be applied in various surgical fields. A device for forming surgical anastomoses contains a rod having longitudinal grooves for surgical threads, attachments having apertures into which needles are installed and located at the ends of the rod, a detachable casing consisting of two halves and covering a portion of the rod, and, positioned around the casing, two plates with springs which are divided by cross-components into sections. A removable fastener is positioned at the ends of the plates. A method for surgically connecting hollow organs includes: a) passing an attachment with needles through an opening in the hollow organ; b) retracting the device from the opening in the hollow organ in such a way that the tips of the needles pass through the wall of the hollow organ and appear on the outer surface thereof; c) capturing the needle and pulling same out of the attachment; d) affixing the needle and thread between coils of a spring located in the corresponding section; repeating "c" and "d" with all needles and threads; f) removing the attachment from the hollow organ. Steps a, b, c, d and f are then repeated with a second organ. After both organs are stitched, the plates with springs are removed from the casing. The plates are moved apart and the casing and rod are removed from the operational area. The threads are removed from the spring and are tied off in such a way that the hollow organs become fully connected, knots are tied and superfluous thread is cut.
