abstract An image diagnostic device that emits light towards a luminal face of a blood vessel, reconfigures a cross-section image of the blood vessel by detecting the interference light between the reflected light and a reference light, specifies a branch section of the blood vessel from the cross-section image, and extracts a stent strut. The image diagnosis device measures the area of a divided region wherein the specified branch section is divided by the extracted stent strut, and displays the measured area together with the cross-section image.
