The present invention addresses the problem of providing an aqueous urethane resin composition which can be solidified in a heat-sensitive manner in such a state that a fibrous base material is impregnated with the aqueous urethane resin composition, cannot be detached from the fibrous base material due to the effect of water or heat during the dying of the impregnated base material, rarely undergoes the discoloration over time, and enables the production of a coating film having an excellent flexible and resilient texture. The present invention provides an aqueous urethane resin composition characterized by comprising a urethane resin (A), a nonionic emulsifying agent (B) and an aqueous medium (C), wherein the urethane resin (A) is produced by reacting a polyol (a1) that contains a polyol (a1-1) having a carboxyl group, an aromatic polyisocyanate (a2) and a chain extender (a3) with one another, and the urethane resin (A) has a urea bond content of 0.3 mol/kg or less. The present invention also provides a leather-like sheet characterized by being produced by impregnating a fibrous base material with the aqueous urethane resin composition and then solidifying the resultant product in a heat-sensitive manner. |
