Provided is a production method for a protein array or a peptide array, the method being suitable for efficient screening of functional proteins or functional peptides. The production method for a protein array or a peptide array of the present invention is characterized by having: (a) with regard to a reactor array (1) that comprises a reactor (2) having a specific aperture shape and that is provided with protein capturing molecules or peptide capturing molecules (6) on at least one portion of a wall surface (2a) and a bottom surface (2b) of the inside of the reactor (2), a step for preparing inside the reactor (2) nucleic acids and a cell-free synthesis system (9) that are fixed to a solid support; and (c) a step for using the cell-free synthesis system (9) inside the reactor (2) to synthesize proteins or peptides (7) from the nucleic acids and for fixing the proteins or peptides (7) inside the reactor (2). |
